Durham Communications was established in 2006 with the aim of filling a gap in the radio market - a gap which meant that many small to medium sized organisations were being inadequately served by the communications industry. Once supplied with equipment, many organisations felt they were generally forgotten untill they approached thier supplier again to buy something else or to arrange a repair.

Our philosophy is based on providing high quality two-way radio equipment selected to meet the particular customer's requirements, often overcoming real and potential communications problems . Primarily we are a people company, forging long term relationships with our clients to our mutual advantage. As far as we are concerned nothing is to much trouble and no question is unanswered. If the client is asking, we believe they are asking for a reason.

We strongly believe in personal service. No call centres or multiple buttons to press. The only machine you may encounter is the answer phone, usually when we are all out visiting current or potential new clients.
